Does your inner critic—or maybe even critical inner crowd—get in the way of your writing?

Do you procrastinate and avoid your work, or maybe shy away from certain projects because you’re afraid to fail?

Or do you power through the ongoing heckling and force yourself through joyless, dreary hours to get your work on the page?

If so, you’re in good company with thousands of other writers. But what if it didn’t have to be this way? What if you could come to your writing with joy, enthusiasm, and ease?

Join this transformational class and learn how you can form an alliance with your inner critic, so you can:

  • find your focus

  • write with joy

  • create the fulfilling, rewarding, writing life of your dreams

What You’ll Learn

Over 10 days, through a combination of handouts, videos, and journal exercises, I’ll teach you how to:

  • recognize and counteract the pervasive (and often sneaky) fear that lies behind destructive self-talk, procrastination, problems with focus, burnout, envy, and almost everything that steals the joy from your creative life

  • understand why silencing, shaming, crushing, and ignoring our critical inner voices don’t work

  • use helpful, proven tools such as journaling, guided meditation, affirmations, positive visualization, and EFT tapping to calm anxiety and fear and make peace with your inner critic

The class schedule looks like this:

Lesson One: Up Close and Personal with Your Flavor of Fear

Lesson Two: Making an Ally of Your Inner Critic

Lesson Three: Say Goodbye to Limits and Hello to Joy
