Present a Webinar

Share your expertise with the WFWA community through an engaging, one-hour session on writing, publishing, or book marketing. WFWA webinars are led by authors, agents, editors, and other industry professionals who offer practical insights and inspiration for women’s fiction writers at every stage of their careers.

Each webinar runs live via Zoom and is recorded for members to watch later in our password-protected archive. Sessions typically draw 50–100 attendees and are scheduled monthly throughout the year. WFWA provides full promotional support and a modest honorarium for each presenter.

You do not need to be a WFWA member to propose or lead a webinar. We welcome presenters from across the writing and publishing community who can offer valuable perspective, insight, or professional expertise.

Before You Apply

Here’s what to know before applying:

  • Format: Webinars are held live on Zoom and run 1–2 hours in length.

  • Audience: Sessions typically attract 50–100 WFWA members.

  • Recording: All webinars are recorded and made available to members afterward in a password-protected archive.

  • Honorarium: Presenters receive a modest honorarium ($100–150) following the event.

  • Scheduling: The webinar schedule often books 4–6 months in advance, so there may be a waiting period before your session is scheduled.

  • SASS Option: You may also propose a Skills & Strategies Series (SASS) video—a shorter, pre-recorded teaching segment shared in our private Facebook group.

After you submit your proposal, the Webinar/SASS team will review your information and contact you if your topic is a good fit for our community.
