A monthly contributor to several blogs for writers, Barbara has a PhD in clinical social work and is the author of two nonfiction books. Her second novel, The Sound Between the Notes, launches in April 2021 and is a story of identity and belonging told through the unique perspective of a musician. Since 2003, she has guided women writers throughout the USA and across the Atlantic through writing workshops, retreats, and special literary events.
